We provide full-service publishing, editing, branding, and marketing solutions, along with an online store offering ebooks and courses. Our mission is to amplify diverse voices and guide our clients to success in the literary and digital space.

As our Executive Assistant, you will play a key role in managing operations, coordinating publishing projects, overseeing marketing efforts, and supporting the CEO in daily business activities. You’ll work across publishing, e-commerce, social media, and business development to ensure smooth execution of tasks.

Key Responsibilities

 

Publishing & Editorial Support

  • Assist with manuscript tracking, editing schedules, and publishing timelines.

  • Coordinate with authors, editors, and designers to keep projects on track.

  • Research publishing trends and industry best practices.

Marketing & Branding

  • Oversee social media content scheduling and engagement.

  • Assist in marketing campaigns, email newsletters, and PR outreach.

  • Monitor book launches, promotions, and branding strategies.

 

Online Store & Digital Product Management

  • Upload and manage ebooks, courses, and digital resources.

  • Track sales performance and customer inquiries.

  • Ensure the website remains updated with new releases and promotions.

Administrative & Business Operations

  • Manage the CEO’s calendar, appointments, and meetings.

  • Handle emails, contracts, invoices, and payments.

  • Assist with event planning for book launches, workshops, and virtual summits.

Customer & Client Relations

  • Act as the main point of contact for author inquiries and business clients.

  • Handle customer service for the online store and publishing services.

  • Assist in onboarding new clients and partners.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

​

✅ Experience in Publishing, Marketing, or E-Commerce (minimum 3+ years)
✅ Exceptional Organizational & Project Management Skills
✅ Proficiency in Tech & Automation Tools (Asana, Trello, Zapier, Google Suite)
✅ Strong Communication & Writing Abilities (email correspondence, copywriting, PR)
✅ Knowledge of Social Media & Digital Marketing (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Mailchimp)
✅ Ability to Work Independently & Proactively
✅ A Passion for Books, Storytelling, and Content Creation

Bonus Skills (Preferred, but Not Required)

âž• Experience with self-publishing platforms like Amazon KDP, IngramSpark
âž• Familiarity with design tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator
âž• Knowledge of Shopify, Kajabi, Thinkific, or Teachable for digital product sales

Social Media Intern

‪We are in search of an individual to join our team to be responsible for our Social Media and content creation. This team member will be responsible for creating relevant site content and working with the rest of the team to create graphics for our social media accounts. Candidate should have business experience working in social media.


Responsibilities:​

  • Create content for social media platforms

  • Organize and maintain catalog of usable social media/site content

  • Work with a team on maintaining a content creation calendar

  • Assist with analyzing and interpreting social media data to deliver better results and improve reach

  • Collaborate with marketing and PR team to create a consistent look across all communication

  • Occasionally reach out to/organize social media influencers who will be working with our

brand

Requirements:

  • Current undergraduate student studying preferably marketing, communications, journalism,

public relations or a related field

  • Social media platform proficiency

  • Creative blogging or writing experience

  • Ability to work individually and in a team setting

  • Creative thinking and problem solving skills

  • Knowledge of the fashion/beauty and safety a plus

  • Ability to stay knowledgeable about trends/pop-culture


Internship is unpaid for 3 months.  Then will be under review.
